The West 79th Street Funk Jazz Band hopes to bring to the mainstream a jazz consciousness with its own style of creative grooves & break beats that will fill your hearts with rhythm and soul. This eclectic group has performed public and private events across the city bringing an innovative style of jazz that includes the genres of Funk, R&B, and Hip-Hop. The band has been advertised in articles and newspapers such as the San Fernando Business Journal, L.A Weekly and the Los Angeles City Beat. In addition, the band has played at reputable venues like the Disneyland Hotel, the Marriot, an the Queen Mary.
